I’ve been silently and tirelessly working on a new project for the past month or so that I’m very very proud of. It’s a podcast called Friday Night Film School co-hosted by myself and Dave Child. Produced by lovely lady-about-town Jen Goldberg.
For anyone that has ever known me longer than 5 minutes - you’ll know that I carry a very deep and affectionate love of cult movies. Zombies, B-horror, Ed Wood, Coen Bros, you name it - I’m super crazy into it. I love that they can be a friendship test between acquaintances, a right of passage between bros, a baton you pass to someone you love as a way to introduce them to something you care deeply for and (god willing) they might care for in the same regard one day.
Cult movies enable us to speak the same language and bond with complete and total strangers! How great is that? I love them too much.
Each week on Friday Night Film School we’ll be celebrating a different movie and showing you how to plan your perfect movie night to said movie from decorations, costumes, and recipes for themed-treats. Then, on friday listen to one of your favorite comedians talk about that particular movie and it’ll all come full circle! And we’ll all be bros forever!
